Glass

Glass is older than the Ten Commandments, originating somewhere in the Middle East. It was adopted and developed by the Romans, and reached new heights in Renaissance Venice, spreading throughout Europe and eventually America. In ancient Egypt glass was considered a luxury. Today, glass touches nearly every moment of our daily lives.

Care

Your handcrafted glass is the product of a unique process using molten glass. Slight irregularities are a natural occurrence of this process, and should not be viewed as imperfections, but rather as characteristics that give each piece its originality.

With simple care and cleaning, your handcrafted glass will last for centuries. To clean glass, hand wash with warm water, and rinse and dry with a soft clean cloth. Never expose blown glass to extremes of temperature. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the glass. Handcrafted glass is not dishwasher safe.

Clairford Studio Glass takes great pride in workmanship and ensures each piece meets the highest standards of quality.
