Shirley
has created a Candleholder in celebration
of Alzheimer's 25th Anniversary. The Candleholder celebrates
the care giver. Candles
are to remember and celebrate the people we love whether they are
those who are caring or those who are cared for....Click on

Shirley and husband Gerry Elford are longtime supporters of healthcare
in Hamilton. Recently they have turned their attention to mental
health, which they see as a serious yet neglected healthcare issue.
In 2005, they created the Angel
Fund
in association with the Hamilton Community Foundation, hoping to
raise awareness for a disease that will affect the lives of one
in four Canadians.
In recognition of Shirley's work in support of mental healthcare
issues in Hamilton, St. Joseph's Healthcare has established a
fund in her name. Each year, St Joseph's creates a special celebration
to raise money for the The Shirley M. Elford Fund Mentral Healthcare
Fund. Congratulations Shirley!
