Shirley regards her angels as her most meaningful contribution to her work. Over 8,000 angels have been created over the past 12 years. A source of comfort, celebration and joy, each angel is as individual as the person who receives it.
"They really do celebrate life, whether it's happy or sad," says Shirley. "A lot of them find homes. They seem to have their own internal need to go. It's like they know where they need to go."
